In November 2007, I was hired to work in a company. After a while, I was instructed to join a new mining project, in partnership with a partner of the company's owner.

After 8 months, the project was going nowhere, and in July 2008, I was called by the board of directors, and they stated that I would be soon dismissed. Right after I received the statement, later that day, at night, in a stressful condition, I called Pastor Handoyo Santoso and asked him to pray for me. Pastor Handoyo Santoso told me not to worry, and he told me that in 3 months I would get a new job. After we prayed, Pastor Handoyo asked me to meet on the next Sunday so that we can pray again.

The next day, I met the company's owner. I asked him to consider placing me in the factory, since I have some experiences in the factory. The owner agreed, with a note that my salary will be reduced.

On Sunday, as planned, I met Pastor Handoyo Santoso. I told him that I was not going to be dismissed, but instead my salary will be reduced. Pastor Handoyo said that GOD's children will never going down, but up. And he re-stated that in 3 months, I would get a new job with a greater salary. I said amen to the statement, and I did not send any vacancy applications.

In October 2008, I received a call from a headhunter company, asking me to have an interview with a foreign company. Finally, after some interviews, I signed a contract with the company in December 2008. As it was told by Pastor Handoyo Santoso, I got a new job with a greater salary.
